Craig Toberman Featured in Financial Planning Magazine With Tips for Financial Advisors Preparing for the CFP Exam

Craig Toberman, the founder of the fee-only financial planning firm Toberman Wealth in St. Louis, recently spoke to Financial Planning Magazine for their article about preparing for the CFP exam.

In “5 tips for advisors preparing for the CFP exam,” author Justin L. Mack asks industry professionals who have earned the CFP designation to give advice to candidates preparing to take the CFP exam. The Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation has a reputation in the financial industry for being done of the toughest designations to achieve.

In the article, Craig Toberman gave valuable tips by recommending integrating your study plan into your professional and personal life to help prepare for the CFP exam.

“If either one of those is neglected, your study plan will suffer. If you can wake up early on Saturday morning and study until noon, you will be surprised at the amount of deep work you can get in before your friends and family start their Saturday. Then, after that, you will have the entire weekend ahead of you to refresh and recharge,” he said. “I found that six or seven straight hours of fresh studying was better than 10 hours spread out randomly across many tired evenings and mornings.”
